Deep connections have always been fundamental aspects of Ana’slife. Her dance career began at age 3 with home performances set to the harmony& beat of Boyz II Men in Denver, Colorado, that rapidly evolved into a25-year love affair. After dancing professionally throughout college, Ana beganto explore yoga taking her first Vinyasa class in Detroit, Michigan. Have we mentioned she’s a qypsy soul?
Through asana, Ana found that she was able to move throughemotions and past experiences that healed her heart and soul. With a new foundpassion to help others find the same benefits, she decided to complete her 200Hour Vinyasa Yoga Certification at The Freyja Project in 2016. Spirituality isat the core of every class that Ana teaches. She believes that the simplicity of breath, beat of the music, and therelease of the mind in the physical practice allows students to find joy, peace, and healing.
Ana is confident that svadhyaya, self-study, is thebeautiful path to living one’s truth.
